Thomas J. Manzi, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late James T. and Mary (Ruggiero) Manzi.

Tom attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1952 playing varsity football, basketball and baseball. He attended Union College in Schnectady, NY from 1952-1954 playing football, basketball and baseball and Niagara University from 1954-1956.  Tom served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1958.  He married Clare B. (O'Leary) Manzi on September 10, 1960 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.  Clare passed away on December 21, 2004.

Tom started his career in 1959 with Marine Trust Bank later known as Marine Midland Bank holding several managerial positions in Niagara Falls, Lewiston and Buffalo and retired in 1994.  He was a longtime member of Mt. Carmel Church and lifelong diehard fan of the Boston Red Sox and Buffalo Bills.

Mr. Manzi is survived by his children, Thomas J. (Simone Viola) Manzi, Jr., Karen C. (Bill D. Wadsworth) Stretch and Michael J. (Marlene) Manzi; grandsons, Michael A. (Holly) Stretch and Steven T. (finace' Clovis Thomas) Stretch; great-grandsons, Landon James, Steven Thomas, Jr. and Nicholas James Stretch; brothers, James M. (Judy) Manzi and Gerald F. (Rozanne) Manzi.  Survivors also include several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 4 ^th from 4 - 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where prayer services will be held Wednesday, December 5 ^th at 9:15 A.M. followed by Thomas' Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Holy Family Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.  Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery will follow with Military Honors.  Memorials may be made to the Niagara Falls Firefighters Toy Fund, P.O.
