Thomas G. Skrlin, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY, went to walk with Jesus on Monday, July 15, 2024. Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, he was the son of Bonnie (Noel) and Jim 'Bubba' Briggs; and the beloved husband of 30 years to the late Linda (Jones) Skrlin.

Tom moved to Niagara Falls with his family as an infant where was raised and attended local schools. He proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge in 1976. Upon his discharge, Tom began working as a painter with Niagara Wheatfield High School, and later retired in 2014 in grounds and maintenance after over 20 years of dedicated service.

Tom was a devoted member of Forestview Church of God in Niagara Falls. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, as well as fishing, and belonged to the LaSalle Sportsman Club and 3F Club, for many years. Tom took pride in hosting gatherings in his backyard and wild game dinners for his family and friends. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren and his cherished boxer, Faith, who will all miss him dearly

In addition to his parents, Tom is survived by his children, Jennifer (David) Payne, Jessica (Eric) O'Grady, Jimmy Hill (Heather Aronica) and Jamie (Jordan McAninch) Skrlin; his grandchildren, Noah, Andrew and Chloe Sieck, Davion, Elijah, Damari Payne, Hailey Hill, Ayden George, Lydia and EJ O'Grady, Brycen Baird and Nazariah Payne; his sister, Nancy (David) Stewart; his special niece, Angel Ruhlman and special great-niece, Alexis Ruhlman; his best buddy, Ron Catchpole, and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 19 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Forestview Church of God, 1250 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14305, where funeral services will begin at 11 A.M.
