Thomas J. Zasucha, 77, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on March 5, 2024 at Buffalo Veterans Administration Hospital.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Wanda (Wiechec) Zasucha, and the beloved husband of Marcella 'Marcy' (Moschini) Zasucha.

Tom was a 1964 graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  A member of the 107th Air National Guard, Tom was called to Active Duty in the United States Air Force in 1968, serving in Vietnam for 12 months during the Vietnam War.  He received the Air Force Commendation Medal and was honorably discharged in 1969. Tom was employed as a Mechanic for Santarosa Trucking and Praxair in Niagara Falls, NY, and retired from Midland Machinery in Tonawanda, NY.  He served as the past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #247.  Thomas enjoyed model railroading as a member of the TTOS with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 53 years, Marcy, Thomas is survived by his son, Kevin Zasucha; his grandchildren, Matthew Zasucha, Eric Zasucha, Leo Zasucha, and Jack Zasucha; his sister, Marie (Harold) Harty, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was also the brother-in-law of Claudia (Steven) LaRock.  He was sadly predeceased by his son, Robert (Janelle) Zasucha, his grandson Nathan Zasucha, and his sisters, Dolores (late Walter) Zielinski, and Natalie (Daniel) Kelley.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12 from 4 -7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Thomas' Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, concluding with Military Honors.  Private entombment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
