Timothy Freeman, 62, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Lockport, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas Freeman and the late E. Geraldine “Jeri” (Lister) King, and the stepson of the late Mary Freeman and the late Edgar J. King.

Tim grew up in Niagara Falls and Syracuse, NY, and attended Niagara Falls High School. Throughout his life, he remained deeply connected to the communities that shaped him. He worked for several years as a fabricator at Stollberg in Niagara Falls, and he was also an excellent bricklayer, a skill he honed alongside his brother, Theodore, during their younger years. Tim had a natural talent for automotive repair and home improvement, always ready to lend a hand.

Known for his sharp sense of humor and love of a good debate, Tim brought energy and laughter to every gathering. He enjoyed spirited conversations with family and friends and never hesitated to offer words of wisdom, especially to the younger generation, including his children, nieces, and nephews.

Tim is survived by his children, Timothy (Lakeisha) Freeman Jr. and Timone Freeman; his grandchildren, Takyra Freeman, Kyliee Freeman, Ava Freeman, Timothy Freeman III and Tristian Freeman; his siblings, Joan (late Don) Baker, Jim Witcop, Thom (Sue) Freeman, Alice Martin, Mitzie (John) Griffin, Jerry-Dean (Nikki) Freeman, Theodore (Marlene) Freeman, Laura King, Ernestine (late Patrick) Gayle, Annette Ralands, Carolyn (late Warren) McDougald, Evelyn (late John Lowe) (Stan) Moore, Danita (Elson) Wynn, Danny Freeman, Nioki Freeman and Mary Ellen, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five siblings, Martha Faye (late Kevin) McDougald, Barb (late William) Martin, Charles King, Edgar King Jr. and Tina Freeman..
