Timothy D. Slattery, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on September 26, 2022 at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY.  Born in Newburgh, New York, he was the son of the late Gerald A. and Doreathy B (Maines) Slattery.

Timothy grew up in Middletown, NY and was a 1976 graduate of Middletown High School and Orange County BOCES. He came to Niagara Falls in 1977, where he earned an Associate's Degree from Niagara County Community College and attended Canisius College.  On April 25, 1981, he married his college sweetheart, Jacqueline R. (Ross) Slattery at St. Joseph's Church.   He was employed with Sentrex Security at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital from 1992 until his retirement in 2004.

Tim was a member of the ISDA Power City Lodge #158, Knights of Columbus Council #247, Assembly #745, and a Founding Member of the Knights of Columbus Council #14622 at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine.  He enjoyed gardening, making glassware, cooking, and traveling, especially to Italy.  He was also an avid New York Mets and Buffalo Bills fan.  Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 41 years, he is survived by his children, Kathleen M. Slattery and Jeremy R. Slattery; his adopted son, Tyrone Herbert; his brother-in-law, Ricardo Ross, Jr.; his aunts and uncles, Rosemarie (late Phillip) Reynolds, Robert (Rae) Pullo, and Mary (late Armond) Ross; his dear friends, Father Peter Calabrese and Father Julio Ciavaglia; his beloved pets Star and Tigercat, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 3 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin on Saturday, October 1 at 9:15 AM followed by Timothy's Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.  Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.   In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine or to Roswell Park.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
