Tom Jay Klinger, 59, passed away on November 16, 2021 in his residence of 30 years, surrounded by family and friends, and under the care of Niagara Hospice.   Born February 18, 1962 in North Tonawanda, NY he was the son of JoAnn (nee Langford) (Gary) Eichler and the late Edward Klinger.

Tom was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. On September 2, 1989, he married Lisa (Swalwell) Klinger.  His full-time job was being the best Husband and Father anyone could ask for.  Tom worked for Nuttall Gear and Dupont for many years. He was an avid woodworker, crafter and enjoyed family activities. He was always one to crack a joke and put a smile on anyone's face. Tom was a problem solver who often took on difficult or unwanted projects for any of his family or friends who needed him.  He never missed a single event that his children participated in - he was there for every sports event, dance competition or other big event that took place. Tom was always there when you needed him and he will deeply be missed by all his family, friends and all who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife of 32 years and his mother, Tom is survived by his daughter, Kayla Klinger (Zack Waldick), his son Kody (Desiree) Klinger; his brothers, Jeffrey (Kim) Klinger and Scott Stenzel; his sisters, Tammy (George) Mattoon, Rhonda Powell, and Darlene Cappetta, his beloved dog Sophie, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his father, he is reunited again with his predeceased brother Kevin (Donna) Klinger.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 22 from 4 – 6 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will be held at 6 PM.  Flowers are graciously declined.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Primate Sanctuary, 2764 Livingston Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14303, or the family requests that a memorial tree be planted in Tom's Memory.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
