Toni DeSantis Blake, 78, of Bergholtz, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on March 16, 2026. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Trapasso) DeSantis.

Toni was raised in Niagara Falls and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State College and obtained her Master’s degree in Education from Niagara University. On April 8, 1972, she married the love of her life, Michael Blake, at St. Joseph’s Church, beginning a partnership filled with devotion and love.

For 32 years, Toni was a dedicated teacher in the Niagara Falls School District, retiring from Cataract Elementary School. She touched countless young lives with her patience, kindness, and belief in the potential of every child.

Toni and Mike were longtime parishioners of St. Joseph’s Church. She had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and found joy in their companionship throughout the years.

Above all, Toni cherished the time spent with her family. Her happiest moments were those shared with her beloved husband, Michael.

In addition to her husband, Toni is survived by her brother Louis (Carol) DeSantis, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and her dog, Brownie.
