Tony "Dino" D. Printup, 52, of the Tuscarora Nation, passed away on Monday January 18, 2010 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY after a brief illness. Born in Ransomville, NY he was the son of the late Harrison and Doris (Jacobs) Printup.

Dino, as he was known to family and friends, was a lifelong resident of the Tuscarora Nation. He attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1976. Dino was employed eleven years in the maintenance department of Niagara Wheatfield School District, and prior to that he had worked for Smokin Joe's. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing pool, darts and bowling. Dino also took great pleasure in cooking and doing yard work, but most of all spending time with his family and friends. Dino was a special uncle to all if his nieces and nephews, and will be sadly missed by all.

Dino is survived by his longtime companion of twenty four years Candace "Candy" L. Cusick, three sons, David (Sara) Cusick, Tony Printup and Timothy Printup all of the Tuscarora Nation; five brothers, Harrison (Jean) Printup, Wayne (Sheri) Printup, Gene (Joy) Printup all of the Tuscarora Nation; Ellwood Printup and William (Lori) Printup both of Niagara Falls, NY; one sister Marlene (Alan) Hammer of Texas and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was also predeceased by his grandmother Ellen Jacobs, two sisters, Elizabeth Printup, Rosemarie (Tom of Florida) Mt. Pleasant and one brother Keith Printup.

Friends may call on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will be held on Friday January 22nd at 10 a.m. with Rev. Donald Robinson officiating. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial offerings may be made to the Tuscarora Indian Mission.
