Obituary

Traciann VanEvery, 53, of West Seneca, NY, passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 8, 2026. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the cherished daughter of Don and Judie (Losell) Rinehuls.

Traciann graduated from LaSalle Senior High School before earning her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northeast College of Health Sciences. During her college years and for a time afterward, she worked in the Human Resources Department at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston, NY. She later lived in Ohio for a brief time, where she owned and operated her own chiropractic practice before returning to Western New York to establish another practice of her own.

Most recently, Traciann served as the HR Systems HRIS Leader and Payroll Consultant at Smart Solutions International L.P., a role she truly loved.

From a young age, Traciann lived life with a sense of adventure and purpose. She was a proud member of the Civil Air Patrol, earning her pilot’s license before she even had her driver’s license. She also proudly served her community as the Assistant Fire Chief of Niagara Fire Company No. 1.

Above anything, Traciann was a devoted and fiercely loving mother to her children, Cerulean and Kenneth. She treasured every moment spent cheering them on at sports events, attending school functions, and watching The Pitt with her daughter. Her children were her world, and she poured her heart into raising them with strength, humor, and endless affection.

Traciann had a deep love for astronomy, often finding peace under a star-filled sky. She enjoyed camping, spending time outdoors, reading, and playing darts. Within her family, she was affectionately known as the unofficial patriarch, the one who held everyone together. And in true Traciann fashion, she embraced her role as the family’s mother hen, always ready with advice for especially for her siblings regardless of whether they wanted it or not.

She will be deeply missed and forever carried in the hearts of those who loved her.

In addition to her beloved children, Cerulean VanEvery and Kenneth VanEvery and her parents, Don and Judie (Losell) Rinehuls; she is survived by her husband, Clyde VanEvery; her grandfather, Lester (Mary) Losell Jr.; her siblings, Cindy (Fred) Wilkesmore, Brandi (Louis) Morreale, and Paul Shaffer; and her beloved dogs, Aurora and Chewy. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Zenith Murdoch, Richard Carbin, Salvatore Morreale, Jonah Morreale, Victoria Morreale, T.J. Henry, and Cadence Henry, as well as her brother- and sister-in-law, Burton VanEvery and Claudia (Tim) Henry; her special cousin, Brad Shaffer, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends and colleagues whose lives were brightened by her presence. She was sadly predeceased by her stepson, Jeremy Blasko.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, from 3–7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 7:00 PM. Online condolences may be shared at mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com.
