Ursula F. (McDermott) Mangel, 93, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Absolut Care of Gasport after a brief illness. Ursula was born in Charlestown, SC and later moved to Lewiston, NY.


On June 27, 1967 Ursula married Albert Mangel in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Mangel predeceased her on July 27, 2010. She was a member of the Buff Social Club in the Town of Niagara. Her favorite pastimes were Bingo and playing cards but her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.



Ursula is survived by two children John (Carol) Manzell of Niagara Falls, NY and Patricia (late Robert) Seip of Florida; four grandchildren Kim (Paul) Nesi, Kelli (Dan) Kneepple, James (Jackie) Callari and Jolene (Brian) Kimble; three great grandchildren Britt, Daniel 'DJ' and Kadie and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by three sisters and one brother.


There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, November 1st at 10 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum, 500 Riverdale Avenue, Lewiston, NY with Rev. Robert Stolinski officiating. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
