Valeriane "Valerie" Kathleen Stansbury, 14, died suddenly on Thursday March 5, 2009. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the beloved daughter of Donna Venne and Mark (Stephanie) Stansbury both of Niagara Falls, NY.

Valerie was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, and was currently an eighth grader. She was a loving, happy girl who always had the brightest smile and was quick to help everyone. Valerie had many friends and enjoyed attending youth group activities at Niagara Community Church in Niagara Falls. She also liked playing the guitar and was a sports enthusiast, particularly of basketball and football.

In addition to her parents, Valerie will be deeply missed by her brothers; Mark Stansbury II, Richard Scarupa and Alan Beyer all of Niagara Falls, NY. She was a most cherished granddaughter to Dana and Kathleen Venne Sr.of Youngstown, NY and Betty Stansbury of Lewiston, NY, beloved niece of; Dana (Karen) Venne Jr. of Flemington, NJ; Claudene (Mike) Skoda of South River, NJ; Kathleen (Dave) Mazol of Kearny, NJ; Anne (Tim) Heller and April (Jason) Mandaville both of Niagara Falls, NY.. She is also survived by many great- aunts, great-uncles and cousins. Valerie was a treasured person to Todd Beyer of North Tonawanda, NY and Erica and Tiger Hanson of Lewiston, NY.

Friends may call on Monday from 4 – 9 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday March 10th at 10:00 a.m. in Niagara Community Church 10500 Cayuga Drive Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Daniel Mann officiating.
