Valerie M. (Gladwin) Rubin of Niagara Falls, NY, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Elderwood at Wheatfield. Born in British India on October 27, 1943, daughter of the late James and Tessa (Lyons) Gladwin.

Valerie worked as a Flight Attendant for British Airways from 1966 to 1972.  She enjoyed attending church services, rubber stamping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed a nice cup of Earl Grey Tea and encouraging people with kind words.  Valerie's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to staff of Elderwood at Wheatfield for all their care and support.

Valerie is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Tony) Montibello; grandchildren, Anthony N. Montibello, III and Luke Gladwin Montibello and many extended family in England and Ireland. In addition to her parents, Valerie was predeceased by two siblings, John (Mary) Gladwin and Yvonne (Des) Gladwin-Brown.

There will be no prior visitation, Valerie's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 10 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  Arrangements by M.J.
