Vera (Gildersleeve) Pugh, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024 at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. Born in Thomasville, AL, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Georgia (Coats) Gildersleeve.

Vera was raised in Alabama and moved to Niagara Falls in 1996. She had a love for music, as well as fashion and traveling. She enjoyed traveling but above all, she cherished the time spent with her family who loved her dearly.

Above all, Vera cherished the time she spent with her family. She was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

Vera is survived by her children, Charlotte Young, Eldridge 'Junior' Robinson, Marchello Gildersleeve and Zenee Gildersleeve; 12 adored grandchildren; 5 beloved great-grandchildren; her siblings, Catherine (Clovese Jr.) Snowden, Leo Gildersleeve, Tony Gildersleeve, Paula Pritchett, Corine (Opal) Smith and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by six siblings, Jane, Elaine, Leon, James, Mary and Paul.
