Victor P. Frosolone, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday May 3, 2014 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born and educated in Limosano, Campobasso, Italy, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Concetta (D'Addario) Frosolone.

He came to Niagara Falls, NY in 1947 and during the Korean War served in the United States Army from February 17, 1953 until his honorable discharge on February 16, 1955. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medallion. On September 24, 1955 he married Florence I. (Capannolo) Frosolone in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niagara Falls, NY. As a longtime member of the Bricklayers Local #2 in Niagara Falls, Vic was involved in many construction projects until his retirement in 1991. Vic was a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society and the 3F Club in Niagara Falls, NY. In his youth he was an avid bowler in numerous leagues, and enjoyed golf. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he used his interest in hunting, archery and fishing as opportunity to introduce many of his sons' friends to the sport. Vic was also an accomplished artist and woodcarver for which he received many awards. He also enjoyed working in his flower, vegetable and fruit gardens for which he received recognition from the Niagara Beautification Committee. Vic also enjoyed the company of his dogs.

In addition to his wife of fifty-eight years, he is survived by four children, John V. (Lauren) Frosolone (Ret. NFFD) of Youngstown, NY, Elena (Michael) Ayers of Niagara Falls, NY, Enrico (Dawn) Frosolone (Ret. NFFD) of Grand Island, NY and Concetta "Tina" (Lawrence) DeLong of Jamestown, NY; thirteen grandchildren, Jillian and Jacyln Frosolone, Victoria, John, and Joseph Ayers, Jacob, Adam, Sara, Grace, and Alivia Frosolone, Hailey, Luke and Audrey DeLong; a sister Assunta (late Angelo) Colavecchia of Niagara Falls, NY and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Thursday May 8 ^th at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, OSFS officiating. Interment with military honors in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY. If desired, donations in memory of Victor may be made to the St. Joseph Church Renovation Fund.
