Victor Maddalena, Jr., 60, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Victor J. and Margaret G. (Faiola) Maddalena.
Victor was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. He attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. He was a member of Laborers' International Union of North America Local 91 in Niagara Falls, NY and worked at various area construction sites. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at his cabin on the Southern Tier. He was also an avid sports fan, particularly of the Miami Dolphins football team. But Victor's greatest pleasure was spending time with his friends and family.
Victor is survived by three children Michelle (John Jr.) Land of North Tonawanda, NY; Christine Maddalena of the Town of Niagara and Victoria Maddalena of Niagara Falls, NY; one grandson Jack Land; two brothers Joseph Maddalena and Leo Maddalena both of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters Constance (late Dewey) Goetze of Lyndonville, NY and Deborah Dennis of Niagara Falls, NY and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Friday November 15th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. Interment at the convenience of the family will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
