Victoria C. (Del Re) Capocetti 86, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday August 24, 2014 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Oakfield, NY she was the daughter of the late Adriano and Cesira Del Re.

Victoria moved to Niagara Falls as a young child with her family. She attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School. She married Joseph Capocetti in Niagara Falls on June 5, 1954. Mr. Capocetti predeceased her on November 28, 2006. Victoria worked for many years as a clerk at the former Beir's Department Store in Niagara Falls and later DiCamillo's Bakery on Pine Avenue until her retirement. She was an avid reader and particularly enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.

Mrs. Capocetti is survived by her daughter, Suzann C. (Robert) Maslan of Norwalk, CT, two grandchildren, Catherine and Joseph Maslan, two sisters, Marie (Louis) Marcolini of Niagara Falls, NY and Delia (late Michael) Merk of Angola, NY as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one brother Zeke Del Re.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday August 28th at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Ave. Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Stewart Lindsay, O.S.F.S. officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY.
