Vincent Corriere, 92 of Lewiston, NY passed away on January 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born January 1, 1925 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late John and Mary (Quagliano) Corriere.

Vince was raised in Niagara Falls and attended 10th Street School, South Junior, Niagara Falls High School and graduated from Michigan State University in 1947 with a degree in Accounting. After graduation Vince worked for a public accounting firm before going into business for himself. He owned and operated Frenchy's Grill on First Street for 19 years until he was displaced by urban renewal. In 1972 he relocated to Lewiston and owned and operated Vince's Lewiston Restaurant for 32 years. In 2004, Vince sold his restaurant to retire.

Among his accomplishments, Vince served as chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Niagara Falls, Vice Chairman of the Niagara Falls Planning Board and is past President of the Lewiston Business and Professional Association. He was always active in the Niagara Falls YMCA and also served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees Emeritus. Vincent enjoyed being a fundraiser and strong supporter of the YMCA.

Mr. Corriere is survived by his wife, Marolyn K. (Lever) Corriere, his sons, Norman and David, three grandsons, David, Ryan and Johann and many cousins and dear friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where a funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Private entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Flowers are graciously declined.
