Vincent J. Faiola, 53, of the Town of Lewiston, died on Sunday July 29, 2012 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Leone and Ida (Scarpelli) Faiola of the Town of Lewiston.

Vincent was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. He graduated from Niagara Falls High School and later Niagara County Community College in Sanborn where he earned an associate's degree in Chemistry. Vincent was employed as a lab technician at APP Pharmaceuticals on Grand Island, NY. He also worked at Tops Supermarket on Portage Road in Niagara Falls, NY for over twenty years.

In addition to his parents, Vincent is survived by one sister Rose (Doug) Kozar of Wheatfield, NY; three nephews Matthew Kozar, Mark Kozar and John Kozar, two uncles and aunts Rudolph (Irene) Scarpelli of Town of Lewiston, NY and Vittorio (Lucia) Faiola of Town of Niagara, NY and several cousins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday August 1st from 5 – 8 p.m. at the M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Private funeral service and entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY will be held at the convenience of the family.
