Vincent “Vinnie” Paul Piaskowski, Jr., 49, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of Vincent P. and Kerrie (Keller) Piaskowski, Sr.
Vinnie was a 1995 graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and Niagara BOCES, where he distinguished himself by winning the New York State SkillsUSA HVAC Competition. He went on to earn his Associate’s Degree from Trocaire College. On July 7, 2007, he married the love of his life, Loretta M. (Kennedy) Piaskowski.
A skilled craftsman and dedicated educator, Vinnie was the proprietor of V.I.P. Heating and Cooling Co. in Niagara Falls and also served as a Building and Trades Teacher at Niagara BOCES, retiring in 2025.
Vinnie enjoyed camping, golfing, and four wheeling with his close friends, the BBG’s. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and Cleveland Guardians. One of his greatest joys was teaching his daughter how to golf and spending time on the course with her. He proudly supported her travel cheerleading, and he and Loretta traveled throughout the United States to follow her endeavors, creating cherished memories along the way.
In addition to his wife and parents, Vinnie is survived by his beloved daughter, Sophia Piaskowski; his brother, Robert (Lauren) Piaskowski; his niece, Evelyn Piaskowski; and his mother-in-law, Barbara (late John E.) Kennedy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
