Vincent A. Scalzo, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY, sadly passed away on July 20, 2023 after a brief illness.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Arthur and Janet (Milazzo) Scalzo and the son in law of the late Rachel (Badalato) Wakley.

Vincent was a 1960 graduate of LaSalle Senior High School.  He was employed at the Department of Transportation as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.  In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, watching NASCAR, spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Buddy Jan.

In addition to his beloved wife of 62 years, Joyce (Wakley) Scalzo, Vincent is survived by his daughters, Tinamarie (Michael) Cieri and Lynn (David) Merino; his grandchildren, Brittany (Daniel) Snyder, Nicholas Merino, Vincent Merino, Jessica Cieri, Mia Merino, and his great-grandson, Cameron Snyder.  Vincent is also survived by Janelle Palmeri (Patrick Ciccarelli), Cheryl (Calandrelli) Wakley, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was also predeceased by Kenneth Wakley.
