Vincenzina Tarantino, 99, formerly of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her son Joseph's home in Woodstock, GA just a few days before her 100th birthday. Born in Pentone, Catanzaro, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Nicolina (Capicotto) Citriniti.

Vincenzina was raised in Pentone where she attended local schools. On June 21, 1947, she married her beloved husband, Raffaele 'Ralph' Tarantino. Together they relocated to the United States in 1954, settling in Niagara Falls, NY where they raised their three children.

Vincenzina was employed by Niagara Mohawk for 23 years prior to her retirement in 1988. She enjoyed tending to her garden, and was an excellent cook and baker. Above all, Vincenzina centered her life around her family who will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her three children, Giuseppe 'Joseph' (Sylvia) (late Wendy) Tarantino, Rose (Hon. Angelo) Morinello, and Emily (Anthony) Masseo; her grandchildren, Melissa (Joseph Genovese) Morinello, Matthew (fiancé Grace Labbe) Morinello, Andrew (Jenn) Masseo, Michael (Rosie) Masseo, Alex (Alexis) Tarantino, and Nicolina "Nikki" (John Stevenson) Tarantino; her great-grandchildren Giuliana and Raffaela Genovese, Beckett and Emilia Masseo, Mila Masseo, and Rylan Tarantino; as well as many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Vincenzina was predeceased by her husband, Ralph in 2010 and her siblings, Michele (late Mary) Citriniti, Giuseppe (Maria) Citriniti, and Rosina (late Nicola) Anacreonte.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 21 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Vincenzina's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 22 at 10 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
