Virginia Duck, 74, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on November 29, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Born in Lewiston, NY she was the daughter of the late Elwood, Sr. and Ellen Betty (Patterson) Jacobs.

Virginia attended local schools in Niagara Falls, NY. For over 25 years, she was married to her husband, Harold Duck, who predeceased her in 2002. Following their marriage, they moved to Pennsylvania in 1981 where she resided for many years until returning to the Niagara Falls area in 2005. She was employed at the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania as a maintenance supervisor and security dispatch receptionist until her retirement. Virginia had a passion for dogs and bred numerous Pomeranian puppies. She also enjoyed fishing, long rides in her car and spending time at the casino. Above all, Virginia will be remembered as the caretaker of the family and 'favorite Auntie' to her numerous nieces and nephews.

Virginia is survived by her four children, Nettie (Jerome) Horowitz, Betty (Douglas) Geiser, Lawrence III 'tootie' (Jerri Lynn) Robinson, Donna (Kirk) Maragh all of Niagara Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Talya Horowitz, Aviva Horowitz, Kevin Robinson, Jordan Robinson, Stephanie McKenzie and Kirk Maragh, Jr; her loving companion, Andy Ligammari; siblings, Marlene (late Erwin) Printup, Elva (late Eugene) Greene, Nora (late Russel) Walters, Marilyn Kirkland, Noreen (Charles) Reese, Sharon (Richard) Harkness, Donna (Jim) Seamen, and Joseph (Patty) Jacobs. She is also survived by her dogs, Billy, Kitty and Mouse, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia is predeceased by her siblings, Doris (late Harrison) Printup, Marial (Everett) Hewitt, Elwood 'Duke' Jacobs, Jr., Anthony Jacobs and Don Bradley.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, December 4th at 1:00 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road Niagara Falls, NY 14304 with Rev. Donald Robinson officiating.
