Virginia K. (Kelly) Vance, 88, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Born in Elmira, NY she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Lucille (Meeker) Kelly.

Virginia attended school in Elmira and following high school moved to the Western New York area with her family where she has lived until the present time. She then attended Bryant and Stratton College in Buffalo, NY where she earned an Associate's Degree in Business. On April 7, 1951 she married Bernard F. Vance at the St. Joseph Cathedral in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Vance later predeceased her on October 24, 2007. For many years, Virginia worked in the banking industry at various branches throughout Buffalo and Niagara Falls. Virginia was an avid reader and an exceptionally loyal friend. She also loved to travel, especially to Florida with her husband. Above all, Virginia loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by four children Karen LaGreca, Kathleen R. (Jerry) Jones both of Niagara Falls, NY; Rick E. Vance of Omaha, NE and Marcie (Thomas) Buccarelli of the Town of Niagara; five grandchildren Marc LaGreca, Jacob Vance, Andrew Vance, Casey Buccarelli and Justin Buccarelli; one sister-in-law Rosemary Ivancic of Bay Village, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one sister Loretta (late William) Frank.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 9th at 10 a.m. at St. John de LaSalle Church, 8469 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
