Vittorio Faiola, 91, of Niagara Falls passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Born in Sperlonga, Province of Latina, Italy, to Vincenzo and Fiorinda Leontina Faiola. He was married to his loving wife, Lucia (Trani) Faiola for 62 years, before her passing on January 21st 2022. Vittorio immigrated with his family to Niagara Falls in 1970, where he joined his brother Leone (Ilda) Faiola and family.

Vittorio worked in construction for the Mascaro brothers for 8 years, and then retired from General Abrasives in 1993. One of his greatest passions in life was caring for his garden, and sharing his fruits and vegetables with everyone he knew. He was a long time parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. His faith and family were at the center of his life. Vittorio was fiercely proud of his entire family, especially his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Even as of late, he loved Sunday gatherings at his home surrounded by everyone.

Vittorio is survived by daughters, Flora (late Anthony) Colangelo and Josephine (Leonard) ModicaAmore; his grandchildren, Joseph (Liz) Colangelo, Christina (Anthony) Scarpace, Julia (Jeffrey) Meyers, Nicholas Colangelo, Laura (Matthew) Catanese, Thomas and Andrea ModicaAmore; six great grandchildren, Giuliana, Santino, Gabriel, Massimo, Sophia, Rafael, with one more on the way; his sisters-in-law, Ilda (late Leone) Faiola, Irena (late Rudolph) Scarpelli, and nieces Rosemarie (Doug) Kozar, Laura (Steve) Monahan, and Duana (John) Risio. He was predeceased by his nephew Vincenzo Faiola and siblings in Italy.

Visitation will be Friday, November 25 from 2 – 6 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9:15 AM, followed by Vittorio's Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.
