Elaine Mt. Pleasant, 77, of the Tuscarora Nation, passed away on September 24, 2022 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY.

Elaine was married for 60 years to Roger Mt. Pleasant, and will be sadly missed by her devoted husband.  She is also survived by her 3 daughters, Karen (Ray) Mitten, Kimberlee (Chris) Dunning, and Kathleen Mt. Pleasant; her siblings, Sam General, Arnold General, Howard General, Linda Cooper, and Diane Gibson; her granddaughters, Victoria Mt. Pleasant, Alexandria Mt. Pleasant, Elizabeth Dunning; her grandsons, Jonathan Printup, Lucas Mitten and Robert McMicking, as well as several great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her grandson, Dave Printup, and 2 brothers, Leslie and John General.

Elaine enjoyed outdoor gatherings and attending pow-wows.  She also loved making crafts, frequenting garage sales, flowers and travelling, especially to Disney World.  Above all, Elaine loved being around her family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27 from 11 – 1 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304, where funeral services will begin at 1 PM.   Interment in Mt.
