'Junior'

Walter G. 'Junior' Kraft, Jr., 58 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on July 17, 2018 at Safire Southtowns Nursing Facility.  Born April 12, 1960 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of Geraldine Gonzalez and the late Walter G. Kraft.

Junior as he was affectionately known by family and friends was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools.  He was employed as a laborer for many years at General Abrasives in Niagara Falls.  Afterwards, he went to work at various local live entertainment venues as a self-employed stage lighting technician.  Junior was a sports enthusiast and avid Boston Red Sox and Buffalo Bills fan.  In his leisure time he also enjoyed playing pool and poker, but his greatest pleasure came from socializing with family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Walter is survived by his two children, Michael Kraft and Nicole Kraft, his longtime companion Mary McCarthy, brother and sisters, Randy (Pam), Nell Marie, Lisa and Freda Jo (John), as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was also predeceased by a sister Kelly and brother Kristopher.

Visitation will be held on Saturday July 21 ^st from 2 – 6 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, concluding with a prayer service.  Interment in Oakwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Visit www.mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
