Wanda M. Corsaro, 82, of Lewiston, NY was called to our Lord peacefully on August 25, 2018 under Hospice care.  Born October 21, 1935, Wanda (Matyjas) Corsaro was the cherished wife of the late Joseph C. Corsaro.  Born in Niagara Falls, Wanda was the daughter of Leonard and Helen (Baran) Matyjas.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Tina Menichetti Tusa (Mark Shirback) and Kyle Menichetti Krogh (Reverend Steven Krogh), her grandchildren Kelly (Matthew) Diehl, Joseph Tusa, Forrest Spearman Krogh and two great grandchildren, Charles and Cameron Diehl. Wanda was predeceased by her parents, Joseph C. Corsaro, Robert Menichetti (first husband), and her beloved cousin, Richard (Dick) Matyjas.

She was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and followed in the footsteps of her mother Helen, and together they built the most fashionable beauty salons in the area, including Leonard's on Highland Avenue and culminating with Leonard's of Lewiston, which she operated for over 30 years.

In January 1974, she rekindled a high school romance with Joe Corsaro, who truly was her best friend and soulmate.  She shared a wonderful life for the next 20 years with Joe, only to lose him too soon.

Wanda was dearly loved by her family and likewise devoted herself to them.  She had a passion for life, family and her friends.  Her love of travel and sense of adventure took her to places all over the world.  Her home was her pride and joy and she entertained throughout the years with great enthusiasm!  Everyone who was touched by Wanda, remembers wonderful gourmet meals and great times!

Wanda was an active member of the Lewiston Service Guild and attended St. Peter's RC Church. She supported notable causes including Artpark, Sacred Heart Villa, Lewiston Council of the Arts, American Lung Association, St. Mary's and Niagara Falls Memorial Hospitals, and many others.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects to Wanda's life on Friday, August 31 ^st from 4 P.M. -  8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 1 ^st at 10 A.M. at St. Peter's R.C. Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY 14092 with Msgr. David LiPuma officiating.
