Wanda Jean (Tierney) Curtis, 61, of Gasport, NY passed into the arms of her loving Father on October 20, 2015. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of Albert "Bud" and Genevieve (Borger) Tierney.

Wanda was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and Kelly Business Institute. Wanda worked in the records department at the Niagara County Clerk's Office, where she forged many very special friendships, and retired after 33 years of service. On July 10, 1971 she married her beloved husband and dear companion, Thomas Joe Curtis. Wanda was a dedicated member of The Chapel in Lockport, and in her leisure enjoyed gardening, attending jamborees, and Zumba. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her annual family reunion, and entertaining friends.

In addition to her beloved husband of 44 years, she is survived by cherished children, Robert Curtis of Kitimat, Canada and Melissa Morgan of Royalton, NY; her grandchildren, who she loved and cherished, Skylar Morgan, Kaedan Morgan, and Rayne Lewis; her adoring brothers Larry (Barb) Tierney, Thomas P. (Nancy) Tierney, Robert (Gail) Tierney; her beloved sister-in-law, Billie A. Curtis of Niagara Falls; dear brother-in-law Gregory K. Curtis of Lockport; and many nieces and nephews, especially Gabby and Dakota, cousins, and special friends who will sadly miss her. She touched the lives of all who knew her, and her valor and courage was evident to all.

Wanda's family would like to extend their gratitude to Niagara Hospice for the loving care and assistance given to her. Wanda donated her body to the University at Buffalo's Anatomical Gift Program for medical research.
