Obituary

Wayne M. LaDouceur, 62, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Born in August 5, 1956 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Paul J. LaDouceur, who passed away in 2008, and Yolanda LaDouceur who still lives locally.  Wayne is also predeceased by his sister, Patricia, who sadly passed away six weeks before he did.

Wayne graduated from LaSalle Sr. High School and went on to work in the water management field, first in California, and eventually in Colorado where he settled down and raised his family. He ran his own company there for many years before becoming a vice president at a company that installed and maintained municipal water systems throughout the Western US.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Wayne is listed in the Boone and Crocket record book for harvesting one of the largest Caribous ever taken during a trip to the Yukon in 2007.

Wayne was also a man of immense faith who raised two beautiful and strong daughters. His loving and compassionate spirit will be missed by all.

He is survived by his mother Yolanda, wife Sheri, daughters Jessica (Danny) and Natalie (Jake), his grand-daughter Lyla Carmella, brother Paul (David), and numerous cousins.

A joint memorial service in Wayne and his sister Patricia's honor will be held on April 27, 2019 at 10 A.M. Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
