William J. Bohnet, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on November 10, 2021 at Elderwood at Grand Island.  Born in North Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Willam and Allegra (McBain) Bohnet.

William attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle High School, and earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Buffalo.  In 1964, he married Patricia (Smeadala) Bohnet at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.  William proudly served in the United States Army as a Captain, completing 2 Tours of Duty in Vietnam.  William was employed as a Systems Analyst for Unisys in Buffalo, NY.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, William is survived by his children, William "Billy" (late Tina) Bohnet and Rebekah (Joel) Fontane; his grandchildren, Anthony Bohnet, Isabella Fontane, and Leonardo Fontane, and his sisters, Beth and Susan.  He was predeceased by his sisters, Ruth Alice and Charlene.
