William J. LeBlond, 98, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at O.L.P Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of late William A. and Daisy (Schacht) LeBlond; and beloved husband of 78 years to Constance I. Laughlin.

William graduated from Niagara Falls High School and was a proud Army veteran honorably discharged in 1946. He was employed as a pipefitter at Occidental Chemical Co. for many years until his retirement in 1980. Mr. LeBlond had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.  He was an avid card player, especially of Cribbage and Euchre. He also enjoyed bowling, camping and was an avid Yankee fan. Above all, William centered his life around his family, who he loved dearly.

In addition to his beloved wife Constance, he is survived by his children, Carol (John) Krasinski, Gerald (Bernadette) LeBlond, Sandra (late Gary) Vorel, William B. (Bernardette) LeBlond, Michelle Spancic and Debra (Donald) Smith; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren; as well as his niece Jeanne (Monk) Johnson, and many  cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Helen (late Ted) Monk.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 15 ^th from 4 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will begin at 7:00 P.M followed by military honors. Interment will be held privately for the family.
