William "Bill" S. Nablo, 56, of Town of Niagara, NY passed away Tuesday May 3, 2011 at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Harvey J. and Martha (nee Rick) Nablo.

Bill attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1974. He worked at the Union Carbide Corporation and Pyron Corporation in Niagara Falls, NY. He was also a member of the Steelworkers Union. He was an avid outdoorsman and he was a talented craftsman. In his younger years Bill also coached in the Midtown Little League, and enjoyed playing softball and basketball in various city leagues. Most importantly, Bill centered his life on his family.

Mr. Nablo is survived by his son Jason Nablo, his daughter Christina Nablo, and son-in-law Paul Quarcini, all of Niagara Falls, NY; two granddaughters Aryonna Nablo and Justeena Quarcini; one sister Wendy Ainsworth of Florida; his former wife Sharon Nablo, two special nieces Nicole Grannis and Tiffani Mackey, great-nieces and great-nephews Aden Grannis, Jaylin Smith, Jasmine Connell, and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and his close friend Bob Wong. Bill was the son-in-law of Nancy and Jim Syruws.

Visitation will be on Friday from 7 – 9 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 7th at 10:00 AM in St. Vincent De Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
