William F. "Nick" McKie, 75, of Sanborn, NY, passed away at his residence on October 11, 2021.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas Alexander and Hattie (Williams) McKie VII.

Nick was employed as a Union Iron Worker with Local #9 in Niagara Falls, NY until his retirement.  He was presently employed at Smokin' Joe's.  Nick loved attending sporting events for his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed prepping Dirt Cars for racing at Ransomville Speedway, and stayed interested watching his sons race.  Nick liked going the casino and loved his Scottish Terrier, Baby.  Above all, he willbe remembered for his sense of humor, his laugh, and the love he had for his children and grandchildren.

Nick is survived by his wife of 52 years, Louise M. (DiContie) McKie; his children, Tina (Sam) Crogan, Sandy (Sue) Pembleton, and Edwin (Michele) Hummel; 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his son, Wayne F. Mckie, grandson, Brett McKie, as well as his siblings Thomas Alexander 'Gus' (late Myrtle Kay) McKie VIII, Alfred (late Amy) Printup, Bernice 'Lovey' (late George) Kraft, Rose Baliukonis, and Claire (late Joseph) DellaValle, Sr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 16 from 12 PM to 2 PM at Tuscarora Indian Mission, 4901 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY 14132, where funeral services will begin at 2 PM.  Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sanborn, NY, at the convenience of the family.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Tuscarora Indian Mission.  Arrangements by M.J.
