Willie J. Taul, Sr., 83, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2023, after a battle with cancer. Born in Talladega, AL, he was the son of the late Fred and Ollie Mae Davis.

Willie was raised in Talladega where he attended local schools and graduated from high school. He moved to Niagara Falls in the 1950s and met the love of his life, Mary Taul. They were married in 1965.

Willie was employed at Hooker/Occidental Chemical Corporation for over 30 years as a tank car inspector prior to his retirement. He enjoyed listening to blues music, but above all, cherished the time spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary, in 2021 and two siblings.

He is survived by his children, Kim Miller, Tina Taul and Willie James (Samantha) Taul, Jr.; six grandchildren, Michael J. Taul, Jashaud J. Taul, Jashawn J. Taul, Tariq J. Taul, Zamia L. Taul, and Shakena Saunders; his sister, Willie Mae Taylor-Clark; great-grandchildren Shaiquayle and Gabrielle Maye, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 14 from 11 – 12 Noon at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY., where services will follow at 12 Noon.
