Yvonne L. Helbig, 58, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on February 16, 2022 at Terrace View Long Term Care Facility in Buffalo, NY.  Born in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mariamne (Halaway) Sklepowich.

Yvonne graduated from Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario with a Degree in Early Childhood Education and Development.  On November 11, 2017, she married Scott R. Bruno.  Yvonne loved to camp, and also enjoyed fishing, gardening, and going to the casino.  She also loved her dog, Thor.

In addition to her husband, Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Caitlyn Helbig; her granddaughter, Gianna Regan; her brother, Ed Sklepowich, her dear cousin, Lenore Morris, as well as by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was predeceased by her son, David Helbig.

Private funeral services and interment in Oakland Rural Cemetery, Youngstown, NY, will be held at the convenience of the family.  If desired, memorial offerings in Yvonne's honor may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Arrangements by M.J.
