Yvonne Stocker, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2021 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Jan and Amelia (Kommander) Stocker.

Yvonne moved to Toronto, Canada in 1953 with her family. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Education and Science from University of Toronto and also obtained her Master's degree in Zoology from the University of Waterloo. Yvonne was employed as a software engineer for over 20 years at IBM.

Yvonne was devoted to her faith and was a longtime member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Amherst. She was also a strong supporter of diversity. Above all, Yvonne enjoyed spending time with her family and took great pride in raising her step-children in Niagara Falls.

Yvonne is survived by her loving children, Maximilian (Sarah Welstead) Stocker and Laura (Rob) Bright; her step-children, Melissa McLaughlin and Frances Watford; her cherished granddaughter, Fiona Stocker; and beloved step grandchildren, Preston, DJ, Caralina, Maxton and Eli. She was predeceased by her first wife, Karen (Long) Stocker and her second wife, Elizabeth (Creel) Stocker.
