Zeke "Patrick" Almond, 77, of Sanborn, NY, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026 at Northgate Manor. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late James and Harriet (Oleksiak) Almond.

Zeke began his working career at Union Carbide and the Carborundum Company before going on to retire from Alox Corporation, where he worked as a millwright.

An outdoorsman at heart, he cherished the time spent at his family's camp in the Southern Tier with his family and friends. Zeke also enjoyed tinkering with cars and appreciated life’s simple comforts, especially relaxing with a cold Budweiser.

Zeke will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor and ability to make those around him laugh. He will be deeply missed by his beloved family and friends.

Zeke is survived by his children, Kim (Chris) Colburn and Zach (Alisha) Almond; his cherished grandchildren, Josh, Zachary, Tyler and Lucas; as well as his former wife, Phyllis Shaddock, and numerous cousins and friends.
